HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's soccer team dropped the regular season finale at Charger Park to No. 8 West Florida by a final score of 2-0 on Sunday afternoon in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slides to 5-7-3 (4-4-3 GSC), while UWF improves to 11-1-3 (9-0-2 GSC).

West Florida went ahead in the 15th minute on a goal by Julieta Limardo, as the Argonauts went on to add to their advantage in the 53rd minutes on a tally from Ahnalie Layman. Both sides went scoreless for the remainder of the contest to bring the game to its 2-0 final score.

The Chargers registered three shots on goal against the Argos, with
Jayla Gillespie,
Carmen Endicott and
Morgan Snyder each putting a shot on target.

CeCe Szopa played the full time in goal for the Blue & White, turning in two saves in the setback. She was aided defensively by a 90-minute effort from
Emily Labus.
