HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's basketball team had its highest scoring output since 2013 with a 114-65 victory over UT Southern on Saturday afternoon at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall. UAH improves to 4-1 overall this season with the win.

Allen Sharpe collected his 500th career victory in Saturday's dominant win, giving him a career record of 500-211 over his 23 years as a collegiate coach.

The Chargers offense featured four players with 10 points or more against the Firehawks, led by a stellar performance by
Millie Brown with a game-high 26 points. She sank eight three-pointers – the most by a Charger since 2013 – while also notching five rebounds and four assists across a team-high 30 minutes on the floor.

Ivey Maddox went a perfect 9-for-9 from the field including four made three-pointers, as she finished second in the contest with 22 points.

Lili Wilken generated her first double-double as a Charger, posting 18 points and 10 rebounds to go along with four assists and a roster-leading two steals.
Alexis Woods also went into double-figures with 11 points in addition to four rebounds and a game-high five assists.

Overall, UAH shot 58.9 percent (43-73) from the field, 52.9 percent (18-34) on three-pointers and outrebounded UT Southern 57-20. The Chargers additionally outpaced the Firehawks in points off turnovers (19-13), second-chance points (32-6), and points in the paint (42-24).

The Chargers look ahead to their first home Gulf South Conference matchup of the season next Saturday at Spragins Hall against Valdosta State. Tip-off next Saturday set for 2 p.m.
