HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's basketball team picked up a 91-54 victory over visiting LaGrange on Monday night at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in the Chargers final nonconference game of the 2024-25 regular season. UAH improves to 10-2, while LC slides to 6-4.

This is the first time UAH has achieved 10 wins in a season since the 2019-20 campaign. UAH's 10 wins are also the most by the program in the first half of the season.

The Chargers started hot in the nonconference tilt by outscoring the Panthers 22-10, as UAH never relinquished the lead on the way to the 91-54 win.

UAH's offense featured five players with 10 points or more in the rout, led by freshmen
Mia Hollingsworth and
Ivey Maddox with a team-high 17 points. Maddox shot 7-for-11 from the field, with Hollingsworth going 5-for-11 on field goals.

Hollingsworth and Maddox were joined in double-digit scoring by
Millie Brown (15 points),
Lili Wilken (12 points) and
Alexis Woods (10 points).

Wilken also had a strong all-around performance with seven rebounds, six assists and three steals, while Woods notched a double-double with a team-high 10 rebounds to go along with her 10-point night.

UAH shot 53.1 percent (34-64) from the field and 40.6 percent (13-32) on three-pointers, while limiting LaGrange to 34.5 percent (20-58) from the field. The Chargers also held the edge over the Panthers in rebounds (48-28), fast break points (11-5), points off turnovers (29-7) and points in the paint (40-22).

The Chargers jump back into Gulf South Conference in the new year with road matchups at Union on Thursday and Christian Brothers on Saturday.
