HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team cruised to a 20-1 victory over visiting North Greenville on Sunday afternoon. The Chargers improve to 2-1 while the Crusaders drop to 1-2.
Freshman
Noelle Coleman scored a team-best four goals against NGU. Coleman has scored a team-leading 11 goals already in her first collegiate season.
Megan Robertson matched Coleman's four points on the day with three goals and one assist in the victory.
Maya Bronson,
Ryleigh Casserly, and
Ava Fudjinski all recorded three points on the day for the UAH offense and overall 12 different players for the Blue & White found the back of the net.
Tori Ryan and
Farrah Westfall split the time in net for the Chargers making a combined seven saves while only allowing one goal on the day.
The Chargers fired off 29 shots while holding North Greenville to 10.
UAH will continue the season on Friday, hosting Saint Leo at Charger Park at 4 p.m. followed by a matchup with Florida Southern on Sunday, Feb. 18
th at 11 a.m. in the Rocket City.
