Women's Lacrosse Drops Sunday Contest to No. 2 Mocs

HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team dropped a Sunday nonconference matchup against No. 2 Florida Southern by a 20-5 score at Charger Park. UAH moves to 3-2 while the Mocs improve to 3-0.
 
Five different Chargers scored on the day with Isadora Springer, Megan Robertson, Shannon Finch, Noelle Coleman, and Kourtney Bauroth all recording tallies on the day.
 
Springer, Margaret Wheatley, and Maya Bronson each registered one assist in the contest for the Blue and White offense.
 
Sydney Schiavone led the defense with two caused turnovers and three ground balls.
 
FSC held a 34-18 advantage in ground balls and generated 28 shots on goal compared to seven for the Chargers.
 
UAH will be back in action on Saturday, Mar. 2nd with a trip to Crestview, Ky. to take on Ashland.
