Box Score HARROGATE, Tenn. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team started off its 2024 season with a 17-12 road victory over Lincoln Memorial on Saturday morning. The Chargers begin the new campaign at 1-0 while the Railsplitters open the season at 0-1.

Freshman
Noelle Coleman started her UAH career off on the right foot with a team-best six goal performance against LMU. Coleman also controlled two draws and picked up two ground balls throughout the game.

Shannon Finch had a strong five goal performance against LMU. The graduate transfer also controlled a roster-best three draws in the contest and freshman
Kourtney Bauroth turned in a multi-goal game netting three.Â

Sarah Cole scored twice for the Chargers while
Margaret Wheatley, Megan Roberstson, and
Chloe Johnson all recorded one goal to round out the scorers for Huntsville's Team. The four ground balls picked up by Cole were the most for UAH.

Tori Ryan saw all 60 minutes of game action in net for the Chargers making nine saves in the affair.

The Chargers fired off 27 shots while holding Lincoln Memorial to 23.

UAH will continue the season on Friday with a trip to Montevallo, Alabama to take on No. 7 Rollins. That contest is set for a 7 p.m. start.
