MONTEVALLO, Ala. | The UAH women's lacrosse team faced off with No. 7 Rollins on Friday night, ultimately dropping a 19-11 decision in nonconference play. The Chargers move to 1-1 in 2024 while the Tars improve to 2-0 on the season.

Isadora Springer and
Sarah Cole led the UAH offense on the night as Springer scored four times while Cole tallied three goals of her own. Springer added an assist in the game for a total of five points while Cole's three ground balls and two caused turnovers were both a team-best.

Kourtney Bauroth scored twice for her fourth and fifth goals of the year while
Shannon Finch and
Noelle Coleman each recorded one goal apiece. Coleman leads UAH in scoring with seven goals through the opening two games.

Tori Ryan played in goal until the eight-minute mark of the third quarter when
Farrah Westfall came in for her collegiate debut. The two netminders combined for seven saves against the Tars.

UAH looks ahead to its home opener on Sunday when the squad hosts North Greenville at Charger Park. Sunday's contest is set to begin at 12 p.m.
