HUNTSVILLE | The UAH softball team completed the three-game Gulf South Conference series sweep of Delta State with a 10-2 victory in five innings on Sunday afternoon at Charger Park. UAH improves to 17-7 (5-4 GSC), while DSU slides to 3-20 (1-8 GSC).

Alexa Douthitt drove in a team-high three runs in a 2-for-3 day at the plate, as she notched a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the fifth.

Sadie Thompson – who scored the run on Douthitt's walk-off hit – posted a team-high three hits in a perfect 3-for-3 outing to go along with one run and two RBI.

Lawren Hayes have the Chargers three players with two hits or more, as she also recorded two hits, two RBI and a team-best three runs.

Caitlin Bryson and Lauren Harbin accounted for UAH's two extra-base hits, with each smacking a double in the win.

The Chargers were active on the basepaths, stealing six bases as a team led by Thompson with two stolen bases.

Josie Thompson started in the circle for UAH with 4.0 innings, one earned run allowed and four strikeouts. She earned the win to improve to 4-4.
