VALDOSTA, Ga. | The UAH women's basketball team wrapped up the 2023-24 campaign with an 82-60 loss at No. 2 Valdosta State on Saturday afternoon in Gulf South Conference action. UAH ends the season at 9-18 (8-16 GSC), while VSU rises to 26-2 (23-1 GSC).

Sophomore
Bellah Machen led the Chargers with a team-high 14 points and seven rebounds against the Blazers, as she went 4-for-9 from the field and 3-of-4 on three-pointers.

Fellow sophomore
Elyse Hughes also added 10 points to give UAH two players in double-figures. Hughes finished the game 4-for-7 from the field across a roster-high 33 minutes.

Andie Flatgard dished out a team-best four assists, as 10 of the Chargers 17 baskets on Saturday were assisted.

Haley Nichols rated second on the team with four points, while also notching eight points in a 3-for-4 day from the field.
