HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville men's lacrosse team was tripped up on Saturday afternoon by visiting Lewis University, falling 13-10 to the Flyers in nonconference action at Charger Park. UAH slips to 4-6, while LU improves to 6-3.

Freshman David Friend led the Blue & White with a three-goal performance while Carter McAlpin joined Friend with a three-point performance, scoring once and providing two assists on the day.

Ian Arnt and Jake Schramm each scored once and dished out an assist for two-point outings while four other Chargers found the back of the net to make it eight different UAH goal scorers on the afternoon.

Tommy Peer played all 60 minutes in the cage for Huntsville's Team, making 10 saves in the setback. This marks the sixth time this season that the netminder has had 10 or more stops in a game.

Lewis was 5-for-12 on extra man opportunities while UAH was 1-for-4 which proved to be the difference in the contest.
