Women's Lacrosse Falls on the Road at No. 6 Maryville

ST. LOUIS, Mo. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team was defeated on the road Sunday against No. 6 Maryville by a 19-6 score in nonconference play. UAH moves to 7-5 while the Saints stay undefeated, improving to 9-0.
 
Sarah Cole led the Charger offense on the day with two points from two goals. Cole also picked up two ground balls and forced two turnovers in the setback
 
Five different UAH players registered goals in the contest as Shannon Finch, Dana Borsh, Noelle Coleman, and Kourtney Bauroth all recorded one score.
 
Sydney Schiavone was effective on the defensive end for the Blue & White as the sophomore defender collected two ground balls and forced three turnovers out of the Saints.
 
UAH looks ahead to the start of Gulf South Conference play on Thursday as they will host Lee at 3 p.m. at Charger Park.
