HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team will host the Lee Flames for the beginning of Gulf South Conference play on Thursday at 3 p.m. followed by another matchup at Charger Park against Montevallo on Monday at 7 p.m.
 
Admission for this weekend's games – and to all regular season events at Charger Park -- is free again this season, courtesy of Alabama Credit Union.

The Chargers return to action after a 19-6 loss on the road to No. 6 Maryville last weekend as they now hold a 7-5 overall record.
 
Senior Isadora Springer leads UAH in scoring this season with 37 points from 26 goals and 11 assists. Graduate student Riley Kirby anchors the Blue & White defense with a roster-best 24 caused turnovers.
 
The Chargers hold the highest shot percentage in the GSC at .532 and also rank top of the conference in ground balls per game with 19.17.
 
Lee enters the contest with a 7-5 record and are coming off a 1-1 weekend, winning 16-15 in overtime against Young Harris before falling 21-14 to Embry-Riddle on Sunday. The Flames leader in points is Maggie Luzier with 50 on the season from 35 goals and 15 assists.
 
Montevallo heads to Huntsville with a 3-8 record before squaring up with the Chargers on Monday. UM dropped a 16-9 decision against No. 20 Lynn yesterday in Boca Raton, Florida. The Falcons are led by Anja Kuys with 38 points on 27 goals and 11 assists.
 
UAH holds an all-time record of 9-1 against the Flames and are 13-0 when facing off with Montevallo.
 
Following Monday evening's match, the Chargers will host Shorter next Saturday, April 6^th, at Charger Park.
