BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The UAH women's outdoor track & field team was represented by
Jadlyn Debardlabon as both Gulf South Conference Field Athlete of the Week and Freshman of the Week as announced by the league on Wednesday.

This is Debardlabon's first career outdoor weekly honors from the GSC.

A native of Chelsea, Alabama, Debardlabon excelled in the long jump at the Mississippi State Bulldog Relays over the weekend with the third-best distance in NCAA Division II at 6.12 meter for first place in the event.

Debardlabon additionally broke the program record of 5.70 meters, which was set by Lamardra Moore in the 2005 season.

The Chargers are back in action spread out at three competitions this weekend, including the Texas Relays, NC State Raleigh Relays and the UAB Spring Invitational.
