Women's Lacrosse Hosts Malone on Saturday

HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's lacrosse team will host non-conference opponent Malone on Saturday at noon at Charger Park for their final home non-conference game.

Admission to all regular season home games at Charger Park is free again this season, courtesy of Alabama Credit Union.

The Chargers return to Charger Park with a 6-2 record following a 19-8 victory over Tusculum on Wednesday. 

Offensively this season, the Chargers are led by top point-getter Isadora Springer who has 30 points on the year with 21 goals and nine assists. Sarah Cole leads the Blue & White this season in goals, tallying 22 on 42 shots. 

On the defensive side, UAH is highlighted by Riley Kirby who has caused 20 turnovers this season. Talitha Goodman and Sydney Schiavone rank second on the squad with 10 caused turnovers apiece. Cole is the leader of the pack in draw controls this season for UAH with 19.

Abbey Burns leads the Malone offense this season in their two matches, totaling nine points with seven goals and a pair of assists. Burns has also spearheaded the Pioneer defense, causing eight turnovers and reeling in 10 ground balls.

Following this weekend, the Chargers will travel to Florida for a pair of games against Tampa and Lynn.
