Women's Lacrosse Finishes Regular Season with 19-11 Victory Over Lander

GREENWOOD, S.C. | The UAH women's lacrosse team picked up a 19-11 victory over Lander in its final regular season game of the 2024 season, securing the No. 2 seed in the GSC Championship which will be hosted next weekend at Flagler. UAH improves to 11-6 (4-1 GSC), while LU slides to 8-7 (3-2 GSC).
 
Sarah Cole and Shannon Finch led the Chargers offense on the afternoon as each put together a five-goal performance in the victory and Finch controlled a roster-best six draws. Isadora Springer and Noelle Coleman both recorded hat tricks for three points while Megan Robertson scored a pair of goals.
 
Maya Bronson registered three points with one goal and two assists for the Chargers.
 
Sydney Schiavone led the UAH defense with three caused turnovers while Tori Ryan matched her season-high with ten saves against the Bearcats.
 
UAH will face off with No. 3 seed Lander next weekend in the semifinals of the GSC Championship hosted by Flagler.
