HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's soccer team scored late in the second half to earn with a 1-1 draw against Palm Beach Atlantic in Thursday's home opener at Charger Park. UAH improves to 1-1-1, while PBA moves to 1-0-1.

The Sailfish got on the board first with a goal in the 2
nd minute of the match.
Sonny Wright picked up one of his two saves in the first half to keep it a one score game going into the break. UAH did not allow a corner kick attempt for PBA in the first half.

The second half opened with two corner kick attempts for the Chargers in the 54
th and 59
th minutes.
Malek Elbendary picked up his first goal of the 2024 season in the 68
th minute to tie the match, while
Kieran Rowe collects his second assist of the season. The Chargers withstood three second half corner kick opportunities to open the season unbeaten at home.

Diego Preite, and
Wesley Atoyebi added a shot on target a piece, as UAH totaled four in the contest.
