CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The UAH men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw at Lee on Sunday afternoon to wrap up the first weekend of Gulf South Conference play in 2024. UAH's record now stands at 1-2-3 (0-1-1 GSC), while LU moves to 2-2-2 (1-0-1 GSC).

The Chargers came from behind to tie it in the second half with a goal in the 51st minute by
Oli Orzechowski for his team-leading third marker of the season off an assist by
Harvey Hewson. Hewson's helper was his first of the year.

Both sides went scoreless for the remainder of the contest, as UAH goalkeeper
Ethan Haworth navigated four second-half corner kicks by the Flames and also made one stop.

Overall in the match, Haworth posted five saves with one goal allowed in his first start of the season. Haworth benefited from 90-minute performances by
Gabe Restrepo,
Justin Alcantara,
Henry Mpagi Jr., and
Wesley Atoyebi.

The Chargers registered four shots on goal against the Flames, with three of the four coming off the foot of Orzechowski.

UAH looks ahead to its final nonconference opponent of the regular season on Saturday with a trip to Lindsey Wilson in Columbia, Kentucky.
