HUNTSVILLE | The UAH volleyball team will host a trio of Gulf South Conference opponents this week, beginning with a Tuesday evening matchup at 6 p.m. against West Alabama (1-11, 0-3 GSC).
The Chargers will then take on Valdosta State on Friday and West Florida on Saturday in a rematch of last season's GSC Championship match.

Admission to all regular season volleyball matches in Spragins Hall is free again this season, courtesy of Alabama Credit Union.
UAH gets back in action after going 3-0 last week in conference play as they swept all three matches against Mississippi College, Lee, and Trevecca Nazarene. The Chargers have swept seven of their opponents this season and lead the GSC in three set victories.
The Blue & White are 18-3 in their last 21 matches dating back to October of 2023. They lead the GSC in points (17.52 per set), blocks (2.96 per set), and opponent hitting percentage at .130.
Mary Grace Bundrant (1.31 blocks per set) and
Kayla Ward (1.28 blocks per set) represent a Charger defense at the net, ranking second and third in the GSC in blocks per set.
Tatiana Bonilla (4.19 digs per set) and
Autumn Mayes (4.06 digs per set) are second and third in the conference in digs per set.
West Alabama enters Spragins Hall with Jaida Alvin leading the offense with 2.08 kills per set and Maggie Roddam leading the defense with 98 digs for the season.
Valdosta State will visit Auburn Montgomery on Tuesday prior to their trip to Huntsville on Friday evening and West Florida plays a road match at Montevallo on Friday evening.
Following the weekend, UAH will head to Tennessee for a pair of matches against Union and Christian Brothers next Thursday and Friday.
