The UAH women's lacrosse program enters its ninth season of action and the fourth season under head coach Akasha Casper, as the Chargers are coming off a 12-7 overall record and 4-1 in Gulf South Conference in the 2024 season. UAH also reached the GSC tournament championship game for the seventh time in program history last season.

The Chargers were picked second in the 2025 GSC Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll with one first-place vote, as reigning GSC champion Flagler topped the vote.

UAH's returners are highlighted by Preseason All-GSC selections
Maya Bronson,
Sarah Cole and
Sydney Schiavone, with both Cole and Schiavone earning All-GSC status in 2024.

Bronson rated third on the UAH roster with 47 points last season from 19 goals and a team-high 28 assists, while Cole led the Chargers with 50 goals and 60 draw controls in the 2024 campaign. Schiavone is the top returning defender for the Chargers, boasting 24 caused turnovers a year ago.

Embry Riddle is coming off a 12-6 overall record and a 3-4 record in Sunshine State Conference action, with the Eagles ending their season in the first round of the SSC tournament in 2024. The Eagles leading offensive returner is Eliana Enners who posted 62 goals and 20 assists last season.

UAH holds a 1-1 all-time series record against Embry-Riddle, as the Eagles won the most recent matchup in 2022 by a score of 19-11 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

After Saturday's game, the Chargers return to action at Charger Park on Wednesday against Lincoln Memorial at 2 p.m.
