Unbeaten at Home, UAH Prepares for Friday Matchup With Mississippi College

10/16/2025 2:02:00 PM

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | UAH men's soccer returns to the pitch at Charger Park on Friday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m. to host Mississippi College.

The Chargers return home after a two-match road trip in which they went 0-1-1, earning a point with a 1-1 draw against Union.

Friday's contest will be a battle of unbeatens. UAH remains undefeated at home this season with a 4-0-2 record, while Mississippi College has yet to lose on the road at 3-0-3.

Goalkeeper Sonny Wright currently leads the Gulf South Conference in save percentage at .818 and will face a major test as Mississippi College brings the league's top-scoring offense (29 goals) to Charger Park.

Offensively, the Chargers are led by Phillip Seifert, who ranks fifth in the GSC in goals scored with seven, and Oli Orzechowski, who ranks third in the conference in shots with 20.

Mississippi College sits fifth in the GSC standings, with UAH close behind in sixth. A win Friday would pull the Chargers even with the Choctaws for fifth place.

Admission is free Friday night, as it is for all regular-season matches at Charger Park, courtesy of Alabama Credit Union. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
