PENSACOLA, Fla. | The UAH women's soccer team fell 1-0 to West Florida on Friday at the UWF Soccer Complex, dropping the Chargers to 6-7-2 overall and 4-6-1 in GSC play, while the Argonauts extended their streak to 14-0-2 (10-0-1 GSC).

The game's only goal came in the 57th minute, when Jillian Thompson converted a pass from Rece Grant.

UAH goalkeeper Kacey Powell made nine total saves to keep the Chargers in the contest, and the team held strong defensively despite West Florida's relentless pressure.

The Chargers will wrap up their season on the road at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, in Mobile, Alabama.
