UAH Extends Home Unbeaten Streak With 2-1 Victory Over AUM

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | UAH men's soccer remained unbeaten at home after defeating AUM 2-1 on Sunday evening.

Oli Orzechowski got things started early in the first half, scoring his fourth goal of the season to give UAH a 1-0 lead.

That score held for the next 61 minutes until Phillip Seifert converted a pass from Donovan Pruitte to extend the Chargers' lead to 2-0.

AUM's Jamie Ward pulled one back in the 73rd minute with a header, but it wasn't enough as goalkeeper Donny Cruz earned the first win of his collegiate career. Cruz finished the match with five saves.

The Chargers hit the road next week, traveling to Jackson, Tenn., to face Union on Friday, Oct. 11, at 7:30 p.m. They'll then head to Memphis to take on Christian Brothers on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 3:30 p.m. UAH returns home Friday, Oct. 17, to host Mississippi College at 7:30 p.m. at Charger Park.
