HUNTSVILLE | The UAH volleyball team is playing host to a pair of Gulf South Conference opponents at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall on Friday and Saturday when they welcome in Christian Brothers and Union. 
The Chargers will take on CBU (7-10, 2-4 GSC) on Friday at 6:00 pm, with Union (2-11, 0-6 GSC) visiting on Saturday at 2 pm.

Attendance to the weekend's matches – and to all volleyball matches at Spragins Hall – is free courtesy of Alabama Credit Union.
The Blue & White return to the court with a 12-4 record overall and a 4-3 GSC record after defeating Mississippi College in a sweep on Tuesday evening at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall. 
UAH ranks inside the top five in the GSC in nearly all major categories and ranks second in blocks per set, with a 2.22 blocks per set average on a total of 120 blocks. 
Alex McGeehan ranks third in blocks per set in the conference with 1.11 blocks per set.
Caroline Moyer and 
Zoe Smith rank first and fourth in the league in kills per set, with Moyer notching a 3.78 kills per set average, while Smith averages 3.24 kills per set. 
The matchups over the weekend are the first for the Chargers against CBU and Union this season, with road contests scheduled for later in the season. 
Following the weekend's matches, the Chargers will host Auburn Montgomery on October 17 at 6 p.m.
