MONTEVALLO, Ala. | UAH came up short on the road Saturday, dropping 3–1 to Montevallo despite notable efforts from several Chargers.
Carlee Lowry led the UAH attack with 17 kills on a .389 hitting percentage. Caroline Moyer added nine kills, Zoe Smith added eight, and Kayla Ward contributed seven.
Setter Anna Clare Hutto paced the offense with 25 assists and also delivered 2 service aces. Cooper Garrett contributed 17 assists, helping the Chargers reach a team total of 49 on the night.
Defensively, Sydney Durban anchored the back row with 16 digs, followed by Zoe Smith with 11 and Emily Redman with 8.
The Chargers will play their final regular season game against Auburn Montgomery on November 15 at 12 p.m. Their attention will then turn to the GSC Volleyball Championship, which begins Tuesday, Nov. 18. Tournament locations and pairings will be announced at a later date.
