CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The UAH women's basketball team fell 76–65 Saturday morning, dropping its third game of the season to Florida Southern at the DII CCA Tip-Off Classic in Walker Arena.
UAH trailed for much of the game after a sluggish start, managing only 11 points in the first quarter and heading into halftime down 45–23. A stronger third quarter (21 points) helped the Chargers narrow the gap, but Florida Southern maintained control in the final frame to secure the win.
Guard Lili Wilken led UAH with a season-high 32 points on 15-of-26 shooting, including 1-of-2 from three, while adding four assists and three rebounds. Freshman Lindsay Garner earned the start and contributed eight points on 4-of-10 shooting.
Despite the loss, the Chargers will quickly return to action. UAH will host Reinhardt in its home opener on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 5:30 p.m. inside SportsMED Arena at Spragins Hall.
