HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The UAH women's basketball team put together one of its most complete performances of the season on Tuesday afternoon, rolling past Cumberland 89–63 inside SportsMED Arena at Spragins Hall to even its record at 3–3.
Lili Wilken led all scorers with 26 points, continuing her strong start to the season as the Gulf South Conference's leading scorer.
UAH received major contributions across the lineup, highlighted by a standout effort from Paris Opelt, who delivered 17 points, six rebounds, and four steals in one of her best all-around performances of the year.
Ivey Maddox provided a huge spark from the perimeter, finishing a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point range and 5-for-5 from the field to total 14 points. Ava McSwain added 11 points and led all players with seven rebounds, helping anchor a balanced and efficient UAH attack.
With the win, the Chargers move to .500 on the season and pick up their second straight home victory.
UAH remains at home this weekend and will return to SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall for a Saturday afternoon matchup against Johnson.
