HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The UAH women's basketball team closed out its nonconference slate in dominant fashion on Saturday afternoon, rolling past Johnson 95–53 inside SportsMED Arena at Spragins Hall to improve to 4–3 on the season.
UAH showcased its depth with a balanced offensive performance, as Lili Wilken, Ava McSwain, and Grace Lynch each finished with 13 points to lead the Chargers. Ivey Maddox added 12 points, knocking down 4 of 6 from three-point range, while Danika Starr scored 11 points to give UAH five players in double figures.
Defensively, the Chargers turned in one of their strongest efforts of the year, finishing with 13 steals and 9 blocks. McSwain anchored the interior with four blocks, while Mia Hollingsworth added three blocks and two steals. On the perimeter, Millie Brown and Lili Wilken each collected three steals, helping UAH force turnovers and control the tempo throughout the afternoon.
With the victory, UAH now turns its attention to the start of Gulf South Conference play. The Chargers will travel to West Florida on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 5:30 p.m., followed by a trip to Valdosta State on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. UAH will return home on Thursday, Dec. 11, to host Trevecca at 5:30 p.m. at SportsMED Arena.
