HUNTSVILLE | The No. 21 UAH men's basketball team hosted their first Gulf South Conference home game of the season on Thursday night and fell to Trevecca Nazarene 70-61 at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall.
The Chargers are now 6-3 (1-2 GSC) after the loss, while the Trojans improved to 6-2 (2-1 GSC). The loss is the first home defeat for UAH since February 3, 2024.
Knute Wood led the Chargers in scoring with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting, while
Thomas Allard tallied 12 points and
Trey Hamilton scored 11 on 3-of-7 from three.
Griffin Cooper had two blocks to lead the Charger defense, while Wood added a pair of steals.
Quentin Toles,
Jordan Mabe, and Hamilton each additionally chipped in a steal.
Next up for UAH is a home matchup against Lee on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Spragins Hall.
