HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | UAH women's basketball extended its winning streak to six straight games on Thursday night, defeating Trevecca 80–61 inside SportsMED Arena at Spragins Hall to remain unbeaten at home and undefeated in Gulf South Conference play.
UAH delivered one of its most efficient offensive performances of the season, placing four Chargers in double figures. Bella White led all scorers with 21 points, while Millie Brown added 18, Lili Wilken posted 15, and Paris Opelt chipped in 10.
Wilken also notched her second straight double-double, finishing with 15 points and 12 rebounds as she continued her strong start to conference play.
Brown fueled UAH's second-half surge, scoring 15 of her 18 points after the break and knocking down five of six three-point attempts in the final 20 minutes.
The Chargers' efficiency overwhelmed a Trevecca defense that entered the night as the top statistical defense in the GSC. UAH shot 53.6% from the field—well above the Trojans' season average of 43% allowed—and a blistering 51.5% from three-point range, far exceeding the 25% opponents had shot against Trevecca coming into the game.
The victory moves UAH to 7–3 overall and 3–0 in GSC play.
UAH will look to keep its streak alive on Saturday at 2 p.m., when the Chargers host Lee inside Spragins Hall.
