CLEVELAND, Miss. | The UAH men's basketball team completed a two-game road trip with a win against Delta State on Saturday evening as they defeated the Statesmen 76-63 in Walter Sillers Coliseum on the campus of Delta State.
The Chargers improved to 9-3 (4-2 GSC) while the Statesmen dropped to 5-6 (2-4 GSC).
UAH took a commanding lead into the half with a 45-25 advantage into the break, using a 41.2 percent three point mark in the first half to build the lead.
Quentin Toles led the Chargers with 21 points in the game, while
Thomas Allard added 17 points and five assists.
Knute Wood contributed 12 points, while
Matt Thurman had 11 to round out the Chargers in double-digit scoring.
The Blue & White outpaced Delta State in points in the paint 28-to-18 and had 12 made threes while the Statesmen made seven.
UAH returns home after the holiday break for a home weekend on January 2 and January 4 against Union and Christian Brothers.
