HOMECOMING EVENTS | ATHLETICS CALENDAR

HUNTSVILLE | UAH Athletics is excited to celebrate the University's 2025 Homecoming with a total of 10 home games this week along with several events involved in UAH's Homecoming week celebration.
 
The Chargers men's and women's basketball teams head into their final regular season home games at Spragins Hall this week, including matchups against Christian Brothers on Thursday night (5:30 p.m. / 7:30 p.m.) and Union on Saturday afternoon (2 p.m. / 4 p.m.). Limited reserved seating is available through HomeTown Ticketing, while general admission seating upstairs is free courtesy of Bentley Buick GMC.
 
The Chargers baseball and softball teams open Gulf South Conference play for the 2025 campaign this Friday and Saturday against visiting Christian Brothers. Admission is free to all Charger Park regular season games, courtesy of Alabama Credit Union.
 
UAH's Thursday hoops games are highlighted by the introduction of the Homecoming Court during women's halftime followed by the department's 4.0 Night celebration during the men's halftime. All 128 UAH student-athletes that earned a 4.0 GPA during the 2024 calendar year will be honored.
 
Additionally, fans are encouraged to wear white on Thursday for White Out Night at Spragins Hall. The first 150 UAH students to the game will receive a free t-shirt to show their Charger pride.
 
UAH Alumni Relations is hosting the Homecoming Bonfire outside Spragins Hall by the Early Learning Center on Friday at 6:30 p.m., which will feature the UAH Pep Band and Chargers student-athletes. Attendees will enjoy burgers, hot chocolate and sweet fare from local food trucks.
 
The UAH women's and men's basketball programs will honor both of their 2024-25 senior classes prior to the start of their games on Saturday, which will include Jesse Jennings, Haley Nichols and Alexis Woods on the women's side as well as Luke Burnett, Blake Campbell, Dane Harding, Auston Leslie, Tommy Murr, Daniel Saylor and Nylan Thomas from the men's team.
 
Also, before Saturday's doubleheader, fans may take advantage of the Sideline at Spragins Tailgate, presented by the UAH Alumni Association, on the first floor of the UAH parking deck. The event will provide a village of tents featuring food, giveaways, and family-friendly fun such as face painting, STEM activities, and crafts. DJ Papa Rooster will amp up Charger fans, and Alabama Energy will have two electric cars on display. Weiner Von Braun will serve up tasty hot dog meals. Alumni who check in at the Alumni Association tent can stay warm with their free beanie hat.
 
Saturday's men's basketball halftime will feature the crowning of the 2025 Homecoming Court, which is voted on by UAH students this week.
