HUNTSVILLE | The UAH softball team completed the Gulf South Conference series sweep of Christian Brothers with a 5-4 win on Saturday afternoon at Charger Park. UAH improves to 9-5 (3-0 GSC), while CBU slips to 6-6 (0-3 GSC).

After trailing Christian Brothers through two innings on Saturday, UAH scored three times in the fourth to tie it before
Jada Henderson's RBI single in the sixth put the Chargers ahead for good to win the series finale 5-4.

Henderson finished the game 2-for-3 with two RBI, one walk and one double. She now leads the Chargers this season with six doubles.

Brittany Slaten scored a team-high three runs in the victory, as the junior went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one walk, a triple and one stolen base. Slaten has scored a team-high 14 times this season, accounting for over 20 percent of UAH's runs scored in 2025.

Megan Shurtz earned the win in relief, as she worked the final 5.1 innings with zero runs allowed, zero walk and four strikeouts. Her record rises to 5-3 with the win.

The Chargers are back in action on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Toyota Field for the Rocket City Softball Showcase matchup against nationally-ranked North Georgia.
