BANNER ELK, N.C. | The UAH men's lacrosse team was edged in Sunday's matchup at Lees-McRae by a final score of 13-12 in nonconference action. UAH slides to 0-3, while LMC improves to 1-2.

UAH took an 11-10 lead over Lees-McRae into the fourth quarter, but the Bobcats outpaced the Chargers 3-1 in the final frame to top the Chargers by a score of 13-12 on Sunday.

Pete Fabrizio guided the Chargers offense in the setback with a team-high four points on two goals and two assists.

Nate Burt rated second on the roster with three points on two goals and one assists, while
Chris Aiello (1g-1a),
Ryan Craig (2g-0a) and
Will Ford (1g-1a) had two-point performances.

Collin Galinski led UAH's defensive effort with four caused turnovers and three ground balls.

Jake Sander played the majority of time in goal for the Chargers, turning in eight saves with eight goals allowed in 45 minutes in the cage.

Overall, the Chargers accrued 23 shots on goal, and 33 ground balls, while going 18-for-26 on clear attempts.
