Women's Lacrosse Hosts Two Games this Week, Moves Up Wednesday Game Time to 10 AM

HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's lacrosse team hosts two nonconference matchups at Charger Park this week including Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. and Lynn on Sunday at 10 a.m. Wednesday's game was originally scheduled for 2 p.m., but was moved up due to incoming storms.
 
Admission to all UAH women's lacrosse regular season home games is free this season, courtesy of Alabama Credit Union.

The Gulf South Conference and FloSports agreed to expand live streaming coverage to women's lacrosse in the 2025 season, with all UAH home games and road GSC contests being exclusively streamed on FloCollege. More information on signing up for FloSports with the GSC.
 
UAH enters the week's schedule with a 0-1 overall record, after falling in the season opener this past Saturday to visiting Embry-Riddle by a score of 18-4.
 
Dana Borsh led the Chargers offense against the Eagles with a team-high two goals, while Amelia Weiss highlighted the UAH defense with a roster-leading five caused turnovers and six ground balls.
 
Farrah Westfall played the majority of time in goal for the Blue & White in the season opener, posting five saves against ERAU.
 
Lincoln Memorial opened its 2025 campaign with a 27-2 victory at home over Lees-McRae on Saturday, as Josie Tinnerello led the Railsplitters with nine points from four goals and five assists. UAH holds a 2-0 all-time record against LMU.
 
Lynn enters the 2025 campaign with two matchups against Gulf South Conference opponents this week, as the Fighting Knights take on Montevallo on Friday prior to Sunday's matchup in the Rocket City. Lynn is coming off a 13-6 overall record and a 3-4 mark in Sunshine State Conference play last year, as Kristyn Johnson is the top returner for the Fighting Knights after posting a team-high 75 goals in 2024.
 
UAH holds a 0-2 all-time record against Lynn.
 
After this week's games at Charger Park, the Chargers look ahead to their first road game of the season on Saturday, Feb. 15 against Wingate in Cleveland, Tennessee.
