HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's lacrosse team won a 17-7 game against William Jewell at Charger Park on Tuesday afternoon.
The Chargers improved to 2-8 with the win, while the Cardinals dropped to 2-7 on the season.
The teams were knotted up at 0-0 after one quarter of play, but the Chargers went on to an offensive explosion in the second quarter to take a 9-2 lead into the half.
The Chargers outscored the Cardinals 8-to-5 in the second half to push their lead to 10 by the end of the game.
UAH put up their highest scoring output of the season in the victory as
Pete Fabrizio led the Blue & White in scoring with 5 goals along with an assist as he led the team in points.
Nate Burt and
Andrew Klostermann each totaled three goals apiece, while
Makai Hillmon and
Carter Henninger led the Chargers with two assists each.
In net,
Tommy Peer got the start and made five saves as he played into the third quarter of the game.
The Chargers get back in action this weekend when they travel to take on Lewis in Romeoville, Illinois on Saturday.
