HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's lacrosse team dropped the 2025 regular season finale at Charger Park to visiting Lander by a final score of 13-12 on Thursday night in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slides to 7-10 (2-2 GSC), while LU rises to 11-3 (2-1 GSC).

The Chargers look ahead to competing in the 2025 GSC Women's Lacrosse Championships in Huntsville at John Hunt Park as the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament. UAH opens play in the GSC championships next Friday at 2 p.m. against No. 2 seed Lander.

Margaret Wheatley led UAH in scoring in the setback with a team-high three goals, as she was joined in a three-point performance by
Maya Bronson with two goals and one assist as well as
Ella Rutherford with one goal and two assists.

Corinne Baker and
Megan Robertson rated tied for second on the roster with two-goal games against the Bearcats.

Sarah Cole posted a team-high four draw controls, followed by Bronson, Baker, Rutherford and
Talitha Goodman with two draw controls apiece.

Goodman additionally helped guide the Chargers defense with a team-high three caused turnovers, while
Isabelle Sawicki played the full time in goal for UAH with four saves and 13 goals allowed on Thursday.
