BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The UAH baseball team won their second game in as many days as they traveled to Birmingham to take on Miles College and came away with a 14-1 victory over the Golden Bears.
The Chargers improved to 16-18 on the year, while Miles dropped to 17-15-1 for the season.
At the plate, UAH was led by
Jackson Lindsey, who went 3-for-5 with a team-high four RBI.
Brock Butler also had a huge day as he delivered a pair of hits in three at-bats, with three RBI and two runs scored as he reached base five times.Â
Jake Thornton earned the win with a one inning relief performance, while five Charger pitchers combined for a four-hit game.
Ty Hutto,
Payton Lemons, and
Jaxon Hay each pitched in scoreless appearances out of the bullpen.Â
UAH gets back in action this weekend for a Gulf South Conference home series against Union beginning with a Friday doubleheader at noon.Â
