BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced its weekly women's lacrosse award winners, and UAH was represented by
Sarah Cole as GSC Player of the Week and
Talitha Goodman as GSC Defensive Player of the Week.

This is both Cole's and Goodman's second career weekly honor from the GSC.

Cole led the Chargers offense in two conference games this past week with 12 points on 10 goals and two assists, while also contributing four ground balls, three draw controls and two caused turnovers. She posted a career-high seven goals in the GSC opener at Montevallo last Monday to highlight her week's slate.

She leads UAH this season with 43 goals, which also rank first overall in the GSC.

Goodman had a strong pair of defensive outings for the Chargers last week, totaling four ground balls, six caused turnovers and two draw controls. Overall this season, Goodman rates third on the UAH roster with 16 caused turnovers and fifth with 23 ground balls.

UAH looks ahead to a trip to Cleveland, Tennessee, on Sunday at 12 p.m. CT to take on Lee in a GSC matchup.
