BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference unveiled its 2025 Cross Country GSC Preseason Coaches Poll on Wednesday, and UAH was voted second in the league's preseason vote on both the men's and women's side.
 
The Chargers generated 108 points on the women's side, while the men garnered 92 points, just seven behind conference leader Lee. 

The UAH men and women each finished second overall as a team at the 2024 GSC Championships. 
 
The Charger women return All-GSC performers Tamsyn Gibbs and Lucy Barker from last season's runner-up at the GSC Championships. Noah George returns as a First Team All-GSC performer on the men's side after an eighth place finish at the 2024 GSC Championships.
 
UAH's 2025 season commences on Friday, Sept. 5 at 7:45 a.m. at the UNA Invitational in Florence, Alabama at McFarland Park.
