HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | UAH women's basketball continued its historic run Sunday afternoon, rolling past Christian Brothers 84–41 in wire-to-wire fashion inside SportsMED Arena at Spragins Hall.
The victory marked UAH's 12th consecutive win, extending the program-record winning streak that was set Friday night against Union. It was also the Chargers' sixth straight win over Christian Brothers.
UAH showcased its depth and balance offensively, with nine different players scoring six or more points. Lili Wilken led the way with 21 points, while Mia Hollingsworth delivered a fantastic shooting performance off the bench. Hollingsworth finished with 21 points, knocking down 5-of-5 from three-point range, 7-of-8 from the field, and 2-of-2 at the free-throw line.
Defensively, the Chargers set the tone early and never let up, forcing 15 Christian Brothers turnovers and converting them into 21 points off turnovers. UAH limited the Buccaneers to just 41 points, controlling the game on both ends of the floor.
The 43-point margin of victory ranks as UAH's third-largest win of the season, trailing only a 50-point win over LaGrange and a 45-point victory against Reinhardt.
UAH will now head out on a three-game road trip over the next two weeks before returning home on Jan. 22, when the Chargers host Valdosta State inside Spragins Hall.
