The Chargers lead the all-time series 14-7 and hold a 6-4 record in Jackson, where they will seek their first victory since 2021. Union has won the past four meetings, including a 3-0 win Sept. 23 in Huntsville.
Sunday's winner will face either Lee or Spring Hill in the semifinals Friday, Nov. 6. The semifinals and championship match Sunday, Nov. 8, will be played at the Loretta P. Spencer Sports Complex Championship Field in Huntsville, with the Huntsville Sports Commission serving as host.
GSC and NCAA tournament play use overtime and, if necessary, penalty kicks to decide matches tied after regulation. Teams play up to two 10-minute overtime periods, with the first goal deciding the winner. If Sunday's match remains tied after overtime, it will be recorded as a tie, with a penalty shootout determining advancement. The shootout begins with up to five kicks per team, followed, if necessary, by alternating kicks until one team leads after an equal number of attempts.
Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Smith Memorial Soccer Complex in Jackson, Tennessee.
