MEMPHIS, Tenn. | The UAH men's basketball team took to the road for their final regular season games away from Spragins Hall and defeated Gulf South Conference opponent Christian Brothers 79-63 to notch their third straight win.
The Chargers are now 17-7 (12-6 GSC), while CBU dropped to 4-17 (3-14 GSC).Â
UAH trailed the Bucs at the end of the first half, with CBU holding a 36-33 lead at the break. The Chargers would outscore the Bucs 46-to-27 in the second half to ultimately win comfortably in Memphis.Â
Five Chargers finished in double-digit scoring with
Knute Wood leading the way with 20 points.
Matt Thurman had 11, while
Thomas Allard,
Jordan Mabe, and
Rayven Turner each totaled 10 points in the win. Allard led the squad in assists as five, while Thurman totaled six rebounds to highlight the category for UAH.
UAH outpaced CBU in bench points 19-to-13, while also holding a 19-to-12 lead in fast break points.Â
Next up for UAH is a matchup with Union on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Jackson, Tennessee.Â
