HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | Women's Basketball returned to SportsMED Arena inside Spragins Hall on Thursday night and continued their dominant season with an 87–61 victory over Auburn Montgomery.
The win marked UAH's 24th of the season and improved the Chargers to 19-1 in Gulf South Conference play, setting a new program record for conference victories. UAH also remained undefeated at home, moving to 13-0 inside Spragins Hall.
UAH controlled the game from the opening tip. The Chargers built a commanding 29–9 lead by the end of the first quarter, fueled by hot shooting from beyond the arc. UAH knocked down seven 3-pointers in the period, accounting for 21 of its 29 points while shooting 7-for-13 from long range.
Lili Wilken led the way with another standout performance, finishing with 25 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Millie Brown added 12 points, connecting on four 3-pointers, and dished out six assists. Mia Hollingsworth provided a spark off the bench, scoring 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc.
UAH will return to action Saturday afternoon when the Chargers host Montevallo at 2 p.m. as they continue the final stretch of the regular season.
