HUNTSVILLE | The No. 23 UAH women's lacrosse team is set to host No. 11 Saint Leo for Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day at John Hunt Park due to weather forecasts ahead of Friday's contest.

The Chargers are coming off of a 2-1 week in which they defeated Lincoln Memorial 16-1 and UVA-Wise 13-7. Additionally, the Chargers dropped a close match with No. 4 Florida Southern 12-8. 

UAH freshman Olivia Rewers has led the way for the Blue & White this season and has the team's highest point total with 19, which includes 15 goals and four assists. Rewers has won three of four Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week awards this season. 

Sarah Cole has a team-leading 20 draw controls this season along with 12 ground balls and five caused turnovers. Brooke Denny has a 2-2 record in goal this season with 27 saves. 

Saint Leo visits Huntsville with a 3-1 record overall and have outscored their opponents 73-to-41 over that stretch. Holly Hill leads the Lions offense with 22 points this season on nine goals and 13 assists. 

Following this weekend's match, the Chargers will take on Rollins on March 6th in Young Harris, Georgia.
