2/26/2026 12:00:00 PM

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | Women's Basketball will close out the regular-season on Friday night as the Chargers host West Alabama at 5:30 p.m. CT at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall. General admission to all UAH women's basketball regular season home games is free this season courtesy of Bentley Buick GMC.

Friday's contest will also serve as Senior Night, with UAH set to honor Millie Brown and Lili Wilken in a pregame ceremony prior to tipoff.

The matchup will be the first of back-to-back meetings between the teams. As the Gulf South Conference regular-season champion, UAH will host West Alabama, the No. 8 seed, in the opening round of the GSC Women's Basketball Championship next Monday. Game time for the tournament contest is to be announced. The Chargers will hold home-court advantage throughout the GSC Championship.

UAH enters the regular-season finale with a 25-4 overall record and a 20-1 mark in conference play. The Chargers are undefeated at home this season with a 14-0 record and carry a seven-game winning streak into the contest, having won 24 of their last 25 games.

The Chargers defeated West Alabama 71-62 earlier this season in Livingston, Alabama. Lili Wilken led UAH in that contest with 21 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.

West Alabama enters Friday's game with a 13-11 overall record and an 11-10 mark in conference play. The Tigers are 4-7 on the road this season and have won three consecutive games.

Friday's matchup will mark the 80th meeting between the programs. West Alabama holds a narrow 40-39 advantage in the all-time series, although the Chargers have won each of the last three meetings under head coach Allen Sharpe. West Alabama is UAH's most frequently played opponent outside of North Alabama, which leads the list with 81 all-time meetings.

Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CT at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall. Fans can watch the game live on FloCollege. On the radio side, the contest will be on 97.7 ESPN The Zone.
