HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The No. 23 University of Alabama in Huntsville women's lacrosse team dropped an 18–8 decision to No. 11 Saint Leo on Friday evening at John Hunt Park. The contest was originally scheduled to be played at Charger Park but was moved due to field conditions following recent rain.
Six different Chargers found the back of the net in the matchup, led by Olivia Rewers, who recorded a hat trick for her fourth three-goal performance of the season.
Maya Bronson, Lauren Pfleger, Corinne Baker, Megan Robertson, and Sarah Cole each added a goal for UAH to round out the scoring effort.
UAH will now have a week off before returning to action on Friday, March 6, when the Chargers travel to Young Harris, Georgia, to face Rollins. The opening draw is scheduled for 5 p.m. CT.
