SAINT LEO, Fla. | The UAH men's lacrosse team dropped a 15–7 decision to Saint Leo on Friday night at Saint Leo Stadium. The Chargers move to 1–1 on the season, while the Lions improve to 1–0.
Aydan Weiszhar and Chris Aiello led the Chargers offensively with two goals apiece. Aiello added an assist for a three-point night, while Griffin Utz, Nate Burt, and Jake Bertils each found the back of the net once. Utz and Bertils also recorded one assist each for UAH.
UAH scored six of its seven goals in the second half, including a three-goal third quarter. Aiello netted back-to-back goals in the third period, while Burt followed shortly after to cut into the deficit.
The UAH men's lacrosse team returns to the road on Sunday, Feb. 8, taking on Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach, Fla. The opening faceoff is set for 11 a.m.
