BELMONT, N.C. | The UAH men's lacrosse team fell to Belmont Abbey 19-6 on Wednesday afternoon. The Chargers dropped to 3-7 on the year, while Belmont Abbey improved to 4-3.
Six different UAH players scored goals in the matchup as Brock Deist, Sam Coffee, Carson Kingsbury, Zach Hulbert, Aydan Weiszhar, and Logan Pinkerton each tallied a goal apiece for UAH.
UAH totaled 36 shots, 19 of which were on goal, and won 11 of 29 faceoffs. The Chargers collected 34 ground balls and caused eight turnovers. Goalies Jake Sander and Tommy Peer combined for eight saves in the matchup.
Next up for UAH is a trip to Salisbury, North Carolina, to face Catawba on Saturday, March 14, at 11 a.m.
