FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. | The UAH men's basketball team concluded their 2025-26 season on Tuesday evening after falling to No. 1 Nova Southeastern 79-63 in the NCAA Division II South Region Championship in Rick Case Arena on the campus of Nova Southeastern.
The Chargers wrap up their season with a 23-10 record, while NSU advances to the Elite Eight at 30-1.
UAH took a lead into halftime at 35-32 after shooting 8-for-16 from behind the arc, while holding the Sharks to a 2-for-10 mark from three. In the second half, the script flipped as the Chargers were held to just 27 percent (6-for-22) from the field while the Sharks shot 46 percent (13-for-28).

Matt Thurman was lights out in his final game as a Charger as he went 8-for-9 from the field and 5-for-6 from three as he put up 25 points with eight rebounds.
Thomas Allard totaled 18 points for the Blue & White with 10 rebounds for a double-double.
The 2025-26 Chargers are the ninth team in school history to appear in a Regional Final and were the first team to go to back-to-back Regional Finals since 2013.
