The Chargers enter the semifinal matchup with a 27-4 overall record, tying the 1982-83 UAH team for the most wins in a single season in program history. UAH has also been dominant at home this season, compiling a perfect 16-0 record inside Spragins Hall.

Earlier this week, the Chargers received multiple conference honors following their regular-season championship. Lili Wilken was named the 2025-26 Gulf South Conference Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, while Allen Sharpe earned GSC Coach of the Year honors. Wilken was also selected to the First Team All-GSC, and Bella White earned Third Team All-GSC recognition.

UAH advanced to the semifinals with an 80-61 victory over West Alabama in Monday night's opening round contest. Wilken led the Chargers with 26 points and eight rebounds, while four additional UAH players finished in double figures. White added 15 points, Paris Opelt scored 13, Millie Brown finished with 11, and Ivey Maddox contributed 10 points.

The Chargers were effective from long distance in the win, knocking down 11 three-pointers, while the defense limited West Alabama to just 1-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc.

Trevecca advanced to the semifinals after defeating Lee 63-53 in its quarterfinal matchup. Cheyenne Trotter led the Trojans with a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Now in its second season as a member of the Gulf South Conference, Trevecca has yet to reach the GSC Championship Finals.

The two teams met twice during the regular season, with UAH winning both matchups. The Chargers earned an 80-61 victory in Huntsville on Dec. 11 before securing a 65-51 road win in Nashville on Jan. 31.

UAH will look to return to the conference championship game after advancing to the finals last season. The Chargers have reached the GSC Championship Finals three times in program history.
